Enjoy the steps!

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled & frozen
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free milk (almond, or cashew works the best). Optional Toppings: chocolate chips, nuts, raspberries
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

Directions

  1. Put frozen bananas, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and milk into the food processor. Pulse until the bananas are broken down.
  2. Scrape the sides of the food processor and continue processing until the nice cream looks smooth and creamy.
  3. Add toppings and serve right away! You can also freeze it for a couple of hours to get the right consistency for the nice cream to be scooped into mugs or cones.

Tips:

  • I have used dairy-free milk for the vegan version. You can use regular milk as well.
  • You might need to add a little more milk than suggested as it depends on the frozenness of the bananas.
  • While pulsing, hold on tight to the food processor. It’ll shake and rattle a bit until the frozen bananas break down. Don’t worry, it all be worth it!
